Sidekick are Xero Accountants, offering a fixed price accounting service to ensure that you’re ahead of the game with your accounts.
We have loved working with the team at Sidekick – both personally and for the benefit of our business. We have received personal and exceptional support from Megan and her team. With Sidekick, we have had our biggest year, gone through loss, growth, payroll changes, a house purchase and a bank change. Their service is professional and thorough. The fact that they are experts in Xero has been hugely helpful – for the odd silly question as well as a deeper look into our accounts. We feel privileged to have such a big-hearted and skilled team on our side. Cheers, Sidekick!
MRC Trust has been using Sidekick’s services for the past 18 months. It is a business filled with professionals that are easy to work with. Working with the staff at Sidekick is more like a partnership than a supplier/customer situation. The folk at Sidekick have not only been there to answer my questions but have also taken the time to help me grow my knowledge of the account work I am doing. My role is a sole charge role therefore it can be difficult to take leave without getting behind with the accounts. The team at Sidekick have backed MRC up seamlessly in my absence. Ours is a complicated business and Sidekick have taken the time to understand and supply support for all our accounting needs.
We have been very happy with Sidekick supporting us in our business. They are there for us, reply to our emails – sometimes when they are urgent outside of business hours – like the time we had a workplace incident and required information.
They are actively interested in and assist us with our business and its needs and succession planning. We felt heard and valued.
We find the fees very reasonable and they provide ongoing support and training with Xero throughout the year to help us maximise our experience and input.
I have attended a couple of Sidekick’s seminars and have found them to be very informative and helpful. The first seminar that I attended was held towards the end of last year as a mini conference – “Ladies behind Tradies” including six guest speakers ranging from discussions on work life balance, finance, HR, law to marketing. A range of speakers to keep the evening moving along with a good mix of subjects covered. The more recent event that I attended was a session on “7 Ways To Build your Business” held at Bayleys office. This was a very interactive session run by Ric Thorpe. It was very thought provoking and helpful to attend. If you are looking at working in and on your business, I would recommend that you consider attending these events. Great networking opportunity as well as learning at the same time.
